Stick a fork in me...

I'm done!
Well, done for the next 3 weeks. But,woo hoo - I'm halfway through!
Finals are over for the semester, and I am thrilled!
Okay, though, a quick movie review.

Finding Neverland was a really, really good movie (if you've seen and liked Big Fish, you'd probably like it; well, even if you haven't, it's a good movie).

My sister thoroughly enjoyed it - I wasn't as crazy about it. I resented the fact that Barry spent so much time with a woman who wasn't his wife, and that he let his real wife slip through his fingers. Good friendship is wonderful, and all, but a marriage is supposed to be the most important friendship. Other than that, I suppose it was a cute movie.

while I agree, I think that the wife had 'slipped through his fingers' much earlier than that, so I think that if you were to be upset about Barry letting his wife 'slip through his fingers', you should be mad about him for stuff before the movie.

I disagree. Based on comments that the two of them make to one another, they were both guilty of letting the communication die. Still, it seemed to me that it was more his fault than hers. He had, according to both of them, shut her out of his world, and had not shared with her his writing. Naturally, the two of them may not have been right for each other - but that is why preparation for marriage is supposed to be so important. But yeah, they both make comments in the movie to the effect that they were at least both guilty - and it sounded like he admitted he was moreso.
